Medical Assistant
We are seeking Medical Assistants who have experience with the following:
- Providing outstanding assistance with patient care
- Verifying insurances (i.e., HMO, PPO, assigned MEDI-CAL plans)
- Knowledge of deductibles, IPA
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment
- Desire to build a career with a fast-growing organization
DUTIES:
- Greet patients, lead patient care flow, room and direct patient if ancillary services are ordered
- Complete appropriate documentation on all patients examined
- Notify physicians of patient status and take vital signs, record in medical records as directed
- Prepare patients for provider by recording current medications in medical record
- Perform designated diagnostic tests as directed by provider
- Assist provider during examination/procedures
- Draw, prepare and properly label designated lab work and/or specimens as directed by provider
- Administer immunization, injections, or oral medications as ordered by provider
- Assist in scheduling follow-up appointments and answer patient calls
- Assist with provider correspondence and communications as directed for clinical care
- Recognize and communicate potential patient safety issues
KNOWLEDGE:
- Medical practice and organizational policies to administer patient care
- Examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures
- Use and maintenance of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care
- Common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment
- Excellent people skills; ability to work well and effectively with others
- Attention to detail, in addition to impeccable attendance and punctuality
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma and/or GED required
- Graduation from accredited California Medical Assistant school, or documented equivalent military experience or training
- 1-5 years of experience in outpatient medical setting preferred
- BLS from the American Heart Association
SCHEDULE:
**** Must be able to work the following schedule****
- Two 12-hour days, from 8 am-8 pm
- Half day on Fridays
- One day on the weekend from 9am-5pm

X-Ray Technicians
We are seeking X-Ray Technicians who have experience with the following:
- Providing outstanding assistance with patient care

DUTIES:
- Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take X-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
- Protect patients, yourself and staff from radiation exposure by practicing sound procedures which meet or exceed recommended industry standards.
- Develop and process radiological film.
- Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by physicians. Maintain a repeat rate of two percent or less.
- Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Report immediately any equipment malfunctions to Supervisor.
- Log completed radiological procedures. Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
- Maintain examination rooms. Stock necessary office and radiological supplies.
- Work closely with the physician to receive guidance and instruction for treating patients.

Urgent Care Manager

As an Urgent Care Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and directing all day to day duties of the urgent care. This includes assisting physicians and managing medical staff in the delivery of health care.

Duties:
- Manage the day to day activities of the urgent care
- Oversee and direct all on-site front and back office staff
- Work daily on Insurance Billing and EOBs
- Workers Compensation and Pre-Employment Cases
- Responsible for clinic cleanliness and aesthetics
- Ensure patient satisfaction
- Maintain accurate reporting of Payroll
- Order office and medical supplies as needed
- Ensure all laboratory work is sent out in a timely manner
- Assist the on-site provider with any issues
- Open mail and direct correspondence appropriately
- Calling patients to collect outstanding balances and appropriate reporting
- Reports on clinic’s monthly revenue
- Maintaining up to date clinic licenses
- Hiring, training, and terminating employees
- Maintain appropriate staff scheduling
- Promote a healthy and productive working environment
- Any and all additional duties to ensure the clinic operates effectively and efficiently
Schedule:
**Must be able to work the following schedule**
- 5 days a week from 9am-5:30pm
- Available after hours and weekends as needed for the clinic
