All of our urgent care centers across Los Angeles and Southern California are open 7 days a week, providing medical services for non-life-threatening conditions. We offer high-quality, affordable health care and diagnostic services for patients of all walks of life and of all ages, from 2-year-olds to 90-year-olds. We accept most health insurance plans, but if you have none, you can choose the self-pay option.
To receive urgent care that is cheaper and faster than going to an emergency room, walk into your nearest UrgentMED center any day of the year and we will take care of you.
Why Choose UrgentMED Over ERs for Non-Life-Threatening Conditions?
As long as your health concern doesn’t pose any immediate danger to your life – like a small cut or minor fracture or back pain – you’ll be better off visiting one of our UrgentMED urgent care clinics. Here’s why:
You Can Save a Significant Amount of Money
A visit to the emergency room in California costs an average of $2,960 before insurance. And yet, more than 18 million ER visits each year are “avoidable”, which means these patients would have been equally fine visiting their regular clinic or an urgent care facility instead. At UrgentMED, our goal is to make medical care for non-emergency issues as affordable and accessible as possible. Compared to emergency room healthcare costs, our services are a fraction of the price.
We Are Open 7 Days a Week
We are open every day, even on weekends and holidays, from 8:00am to 8:00pm on Monday to Friday, and from 9:00am to 5:00pm on the weekends. This means if you need to see a doctor late in the evening or early morning when your primary care doctor’s office is closed, we are here for you. When you are suddenly feeling ill, have sustained a minor injury, or have another condition that does not seem serious, but you don’t want to wait till the next day, our care teams at an UrgentMED near you will be here to help you.
You Don’t Need an Appointment
There’s a reason why our urgent care facilities are also called “walk-in” clinics. No appointments are needed. You can come in at any time of your choosing and you’ll be attended by a primary care physician or lab professional right away.
The average wait time is about 5 minutes; most of our patients come to us during their lunch break. You can get in, see a doctor immediately, do the paperwork in the spacious waiting room, get any medications for your health concern, and get out – all within 30 minutes or less. That’s how quick and efficient our urgent care providers are.
We Accept Most Insurance Plans
We accept Medicare, TRICARE, and a multitude of PPO and HMO insurance plans. You can check this page to see an up-to-date list of insurances we accept. If you don’t have any insurance, don’t worry, our self-pay option and flexible payment plans have got you covered. If you’d like to know how much a particular treatment or service will cost at your nearest UrgentMED urgent care center, you can call ahead of your visit.
We Provide Immediate Care for Almost Every Non-Life-Threatening Injury and Illness
From cold and flu symptoms and ear infections to ingrown toe nails and urinary tract infections, we provide urgent care services for a wide range of health concerns. Each UrgentMED facility is a multi-specialty medical center staffed with licensed primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, podiatrists, and other specialists.
Please keep in mind that if your injury or illness is severe, i.e., it poses a real danger to your life, you must either dial 911 or go directly to your local emergency room. UrgentMED centers only offer immediate and primary care services – we don’t provide medical emergency care. Think of us as a bridge between an ER and your primary care provider (when they are not available).
Convenient Locations Across Southern California
We have clinics located in Anaheim, Beverly Hills, Burbank, Culver City, Carlsbad, Encino, Glendale, Huntington Park, Lake Forest, Lawndale, Long Beach, North Hollywood, Pasadena, Rancho Palos Verdes, Santa Monica, Torrance, Tustin City, Woodland Hills, and of course, several in Los Angeles, CA, among others. Each location is fully staffed and provides the same comprehensive range of services.
COVID-19 Testing Available, Get Results Within 1 Hour
We have FDA-approved Rapid PCR Testing available in our state-of-the-art labs. Results are usually received within an hour. PCR tests are considered more accurate and reliable compared to many other COVID tests since they test for the specific genetic material of coronavirus. If you need a COVID test urgently for an event or travel, just go to your nearest UrgentMED and you’ll have the test results in your hands in 60 minutes or so.
We also provide flu shots, flu testing, on-site x-rays, instant urine drug testing, physicals (for school, sports, and work), vaccinations, immunizations, B12 shots, and several other diagnostic testing services and treatments.

When a last minute health-related setback arises in your family, it can be extremely stressful for everyone.
